Twitter Getting Back On Its Feet

Since a deploy this afternoon, site latency has been looking a lot better. We’re still vulnerable to particular database problems and there are additional enhancements we want to make. We’ll be working on these issues tonight and tomorrow.
IM continues to be down but we’ve also made progress on that front; we’ve tested a lot more of the technology we need in order to restore this...

It’s a paid service, and claims to be legal. But is it? No stamps of approval from movie distribution companies, nothing concrete. If it is what I suspect it is, then whoever PAYS to download movies is dumb - you can get the same stuff for free from torrent sites, and they’re both equally ILLEGAL.

The recent trouble over at twitter is really frustrating. Even more so when TwitterFox dies, and Digsby hangs, cuz of Twitter. Friends have found a replacement called Plurk, but I don’t know if I will use Plurk full time.
